First Century of the Season

To say it was a beautiful day was an understatement. Temps were in the low 60's.  Not bad for March.  Our route was nothing planned, which made the ride even more interesting.

This was our first century of the year.  And, now that I think about it, my first century after breaking my leg.

We started out of Watkins Glenn at the southern end of Seneca Lake.  Mully took me up the west side of the lake for starters.  We saw a random road on our left and took it.  This is the way the rest of the ride would go.  No map just winging it!  We made our way to Penn Yan.  From there; Geneva and over to Ovid and back down the east side of the Seneca Lake, back to Watkins Glenn.

In the end we racked up 109 miles.  When I got off the bike I was bummed it was over.  This was definitely one of the best century rides ever!

On our way to Watkins Glenn.  I was sporting a bit of a hang over.  I think I must have tipped a few too many chalices the night before.

But yet another "Artsy Shot" taken at our 1st goofyboots adjustment.

One of our random roads.  This one was dirt.

Mully messing with someone's mail box.  I'm pretty sure this is a federal offense.

Some where along the east side of Keuka Lake.

Liquid stamina!
